You're planning a beautiful destination wedding and all the plans have been finalized. However, one little hiccup...that gorgeous gown has been trapped in it's garment bag for weeks and it's almost show time.
PRESS THE DRESS is here to the rescue. We will come out to your hotel or rental property and do all the hard work for you. Usually during your rehearsal (the day or night before the big day), our professionals will hand finish your garments and stage them for the following BIG day! All you'll need to do is step into your wedding dress and walk down that aisle. We even carry a sewing kit in case there are any loose buttons.
GOWN CLEANING & PRESERVATION - NATIONWIDE NOW AVAILABLE
After your wedding, when you're all packed to make your way back home, instead of packing your soiled wedding gown back into the garment bag and allowing the stains to set-in, PRESS THE DRESS will come back out to your hotel or rental property, pick up your gown and process it for cleaning. We will go over any damages and heavily soiled/stained areas and mark them off with you, then send your gown out. It will be meticulously dry cleaned (taking extra measures to remove heavily soiled areas), hand pressed and processed in a vacuum sealed presentation box, then placed in a shipping box. The box is then shipped directly to your door within 4-6 weeks. Licensed and insured (with options to take out additional insurance).

Our Prices
HAND PRESSING SERVICE
We pride ourselves on our outstanding reputation and particular attention to every little detail in pressing/steaming your gown(s). Not every fabric can be steamed and its worth knowing that ahead of time to avoid doing things yourself. For example, steaming silk can result in water running and staining your fabric.
PRESS THE DRESS will come out to your accommodations (usually during the rehearsal/dinner or while you are doing important other things with your family and bridal party). We go over your gown carefully to make sure there are no obvious little marks or tears, loose threads or buttons, etc. We then prepare to press or steam the garment. We'll meticulously process your gown and then artistically 'stage' the gown for the following day. This way, all you have to do is step into a beautifully prepared wedding gown. Your photographer will want to take photos of the gown before you put it on also. Our presentation allows for gorgeous photos of the gown, both before you put it on and while you're wearing it.
Before we leave the premises, we take photos and send them to the bride, so she can see her prepared gown before anyone else.
This service is particularly great for brides who have traveled for a destination wedding and need their gown repressed.
Our prices start at $250 for wedding gowns and $75 for attendant dresses and there is a minimum charge of $250 to book our service. If parking is required, we add on a $15+ parking fee. If there is a gate fee, client will be billed accordingly. Travel is normally included in our fees for local travel and travel fees negotiated for all out of town travel.

We have worked with the same company since 2002 and have always had the most amazing results and reviews. Our service includes:
Processing your gown for shipment, shipping prices from you and back to your doorstep, extraordinary cleaning while focusing on any stubborn stains, meticulous hand pressing of your gown, beautiful wrapping of your gown in acid free tissue and packaging in a gorgeous windowed presentation box, then packed in an outer shipping box. The gown comes straight to your door via UPS Ground Shipping.
If you have traveled to Charleston SC or Myrtle Beach for a destination wedding and have booked our Pressing Services, we can provide a 'white glove service' to pick up the gown the following day for cleaning and preservation. This service is included complimentary for all our pressing customers.
The all-inclusive price for our Gown Preservation Services, $350 + Tax and includes cleaning and preservation of one gown, veil and two additional small items (such as a belt, wrap, sash, etc) items, ALL shipping costs, plus $1,000 insurance. Add't insurance is available at an extra cost.
